We may find ourselves hopeless at times and wonder whether we can be hopeful again. Try not to lose hope because hope is what is keeping you alive, as well as your vital organs and sustenance. Each and every one of us wants to be or even aspires to be hopeful. When you assess all the obstacles and challenges you may face, you sometimes wonder if there is any hope at all. It is only natural that you question the circumstances you are faced with, but it is better to review, reflect, and never wallow about those challenges. Difficult times are no doubt challenging, despite all you endure. Consider this period as a test of your will and endurance to survive. During these grim times, being hopeful can effectively surprise you. Hope gives us something to look forward to, like a new adventure, job, business, good health, meeting someone special, or even a new friend. I have been tested on so many levels; at times, I even felt hopeless. Regardless of what you face in life, overcoming the obstacles and challenges that you may face defines us, and sets us apart from others. Spreading hope by caring and sharing will no doubt help others; at the same time, it will have a profound impact on yourself and those around you. Keep love and hope present in your lives, and you will no doubt find it most rewarding and fulfilling. Hope can be contagious, so why not? By way of catharsis, even the doubtful are discovering surprises.

Your well-being is important, so it is ok to get rid of the toxic or toxic people in your life. Hope dwindles in toxicity, and adds more grief to your life. Unnecessary confrontation with the burdens of toxic people does more harm to you than to them. It is important to surround yourself with people who truly care about you and your well-being, and in turn, you can be there for them. Everyone needs guidance and direction, wisdom and hope, encouragement and motivation, empathy and understanding, love and support. They can be a pillar of strength when you need it the most, and sometimes when you least expect it. We all need the support of loved ones, and sometimes, when you are sick, it can give the lift and encouragement you need to persevere. Simple words of encouragement can turn a bad day into a good day. A strong support system is like battle armor; it helps you get through the battles you face. It is vital to remain hopeful regardless of what you may face in life. Sometimes, this can be a difficult task for some people; just don't give up on hope. You may find yourself going through multiple phases in life, and it may feel like a never-ending cycle of despair. Make sure you find encouragement from those around you, your pets, movies, music, and just about anything that sustains you and gives you renewed hope.
"Hope is not the conviction that something will turn out well but the certainty that something makes sense, regardless of how it turns out."
- Vaclav Havel
"Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear. If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today."
- Thich Nhat Hanh
"All human wisdom is summed up in two words; wait and hope."
- Alexandre Dumas
"Hope is like peace. It is not a gift from God. It is a gift only we can give one another."
- Elie Wiesel
I am an optimist at heart, but at the same time, I am a realist when it matters the most. This is how I remain hopeful about my future, despite the uncertainty at times. When you find yourself facing unexpected challenges, stop and take a moment to assess, reflect, and adjust. Sometimes when you least expect, hope somehow shines through and enables you to find that renewed assurance. Challenging oneself is very fulfilling and rewarding, as it creates an opportunity for renewed hope. A positive change of mindset allows you to be hopeful, while at the same time you are taking the appropriate steps towards a better you. Keep in mind that sometimes we may face roadblocks along our journey in life, just do not let it stop you or diminish the hope within you. Surround yourself with a support system of family and friends who are as or even much more optimistic as yourself. Hope can be contagious, and that is a good thing because it will keep your spirits up. Never deny yourself the feeling of being hopeful, since I can attest that hope has made a considerable difference in my life. Spread hope as much as possible, and let catharsis flow with ease. Remember, hope never dies unless you or someone else creates its demise. Reframe the negativity with positive, uplifting thoughts, and you will be surprised by the impactful change you will begin to see.
